Privacy Policy

The Dynasty Almanac

Last updated: June 3, 2026

1. Who We Are

This Privacy Policy explains how The Dynasty Almanac (“we,” “us,” “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use The Dynasty Almanac (the “Service”). If you have questions, contact us at thedynastyalmanac@gmail.com.

2. Information We Collect

Account information. When you create an account, our authentication provider collects your email address and, if you sign in with Google, basic profile information (such as your name and Google account email). If you use email/password sign-in, your password is handled and stored securely by our authentication provider — we never see or store your raw password.

Fantasy league data. When you use the Service, you provide a public fantasy-platform username (e.g., your Sleeper username). The Service then retrieves publicly available league information associated with that username — such as trades, draft picks, rosters, and standings — from the third-party platform’s public interface. This data is used to generate your view and may be cached to improve performance.

Usage and technical data. Like most websites, we and our service providers may automatically collect limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, device information, and basic usage events, for security, debugging, and to understand how the Service is used.

Payment information. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full payment-card number; the processor does, under its own privacy policy. We may receive limited information such as subscription status and the last four digits of your card.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including generating your league history.
  • To create and manage your account and free trial, and to enforce trial limits.
  • To process subscriptions and payments.
  • To communicate with you about your account, important changes, or support requests.
  • To secure the Service, prevent abuse, and debug problems.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not show third-party advertising in the Service, and we do not let advertisers pay to influence what the Service shows you.

4. Third-Party Services We Share Data With

We rely on a small number of trusted service providers to run the Service. They process data on our behalf and are bound by their own privacy commitments:

  • Authentication: Clerk — manages sign-up, sign-in, and your account credentials.
  • Database / hosting of account records: Supabase — stores account and trial/subscription records.
  • Application hosting: Vercel — serves the website and handles requests.
  • Payment processing: Stripe — processes subscription payments.
  • Fantasy data source: Sleeper — we read public league data from this platform; we are not affiliated with it.

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of our users or the Service. If we are ever involved in a merger or acquisition, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

5. Data Retention

We keep account and subscription records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Cached fantasy data is public information and may be retained or refreshed to keep the Service responsive. You can request deletion of your account as described below.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export it, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at thedynastyalmanac@gmail.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.

  • California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We do not sell personal information.
  • EU/UK residents (GDPR/UK GDPR): our legal bases for processing are performing our contract with you (providing the Service), your consent where applicable, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing the Service. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

You can delete your account at any time from your account settings or by contacting us. Deleting your account removes your account record; some information may be retained where required by law.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — and rely on reputable providers — to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us at thedynastyalmanac@gmail.com and we will delete it.

9. International Users

We operate the Service from the United States. If you access the Service from elsewhere, your information may be processed in countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours. By using the Service, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice (for example, by updating the “Last updated” date or emailing you). Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
